In the town of Bibury are the row houses once inhabited by weavers. In the 13th century, this was the site where monks stored their wool. Later, in the 17th century, these row houses were constructed for weavers. I'm in awe of the fact that they were preserved and that these ancient bricks that I paint today hold hidden stories of ages past.
