Won an Honorable Mention in the Northstar Watermedia Exhibition 2015
In my figurative work I try to dramatize the subject with light and color. Here I wanted to portray a generous Mexican hostess. Though I couldn't understand much of her Spanish, she communicated well through her cooking. Hand-made tortillas came with nearly every meal!
The framed watercolor is 28" x 21".
